Achieving a successful renovation involves a seamless collaboration among a designer, builder, and structural engineer. That’s why it’s so essential to work together efficiently. At Mason Structures, our goal is to streamline the process and provide cost-efficient calculations for you.
Our approach consists of two stages: In the preliminary phase, you’ll receive an indication of the structural elements’ layout and sizing. This allows your builder and architect to provide valuable feedback on feasibility. Upon approval of the preliminaries, we proceed to the finalization of the structural design.

A structural engineer completes calculations to specify the sizes of structural elements. The stability of a building/property is also assessed by the engineer or even to determine whether a structural element is required.
A visit is dependent on whether architect plans are available, what works are planned for the property and if plans are available if there are any specific parts where we believe a site visit would be useful.
Calculation lead times vary from project to project; however, usually, calculations will be sent to you within 7-10 working days from the appointment.
